Kiddicare.com goes mobile

The company has launched a new mobile friendly version of its website

In response to the increase in consumer demand for mobile solutions, Kiddicare.com has adapted its site to enable transactional use on all mobile devices. Mobile traffic already accounts for approximately 7% (70,000 unique users per month) of all Kiddicare.com visits and with this in mind, Kiddicare.com has invested in an interface to give customers the ability to browse the online store as quickly and easily as they do on a computer, making shopping at Kiddicare.com even more convenient.

The fully transactional Kiddicare.com mobile site enables shoppers to browse and purchase items on the go. Customers can access to their personal Kiddicare.com account, providing the option to store credit card details safely, yet conveniently, and review their previous orders. This one ‘basket’ per user approach, means shoppers can browse and select items whilst on the go, but save their order and checkout at home, if they prefer.

Developed and designed in-house by Kiddicare’s IBM development team, Kiddicare.com’s  SEO can drive traffic to the site from any link on the web. From inception to launch, the production of the new mobile technology has taken just seven weeks. Assisted by Salmon, who helped develop the system’s architecture, it  incorporates existing Cybersource decision manager solutions, Kiddicare.com’s fraud protection system.

Simon Harrow, Technology Officer at  Kiddicare is speaking at the Retail Bulletin’s Multichannel Summit 2011. To find out more, click here.
