Mango is continuing to expand in the US with new east coast openings in Washington and Boston.

The news follows the launch of the fashion retailer’s shops in New York, Florida, Texas, Georgia, California and Pennsylvania.

Mango’s plans to open four stores across the US capitol have included the launch of a store in Westfield Montgomery on 14 April. Later this year, it will open shops at 950 F Street in historic downtown Washington, Tysons Corner Center and Pentagon City.

Mango also plans to have three new stores across the greater Boston area, one of which launched on 22 April in Natick Mall, the largest shopping centre in Massachusetts. This will be followed by two additional openings in the area in 2024.

Mango’s director of expansion and franchises Daniel López, said: “We are thrilled to be expanding in the US with our new stores in Washington, D.C. and Boston, two key markets on the East Coast.

“This is a very exciting time to be at Mango and we will continue executing on our plan to bring the brand experience physically to more U.S. consumers.

“These openings are the first of several and we look forward to sharing more on our progress as the year goes on.”

Mango began expanding in the US in 2022 after opening a flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York City. It is aiming to have 40 company owned stores by 2024 and for the country to become one of its top markets in terms of turnover.
