N Brown non-executive director to step down

N Brown, the owner of Simply Be, Jacamo and JD Williams, has announced that Lesley Jones has decided to step down from its board following her appointment as chairman of Sainsbury’s Bank.

She has been a director of the business since 2014 and will come off the board on 31 March.

Jones previously spent 30 years at Citigroup where she had global responsibility for the corporate credit portfolio and also worked for six years as chief credit officer at RBS from 2008 to 2014.

At N Brown, she is a member of the audit and risk, nomination and governance and financial services board committees.
