N Brown Group chief customer operations officer leaves the business
N Brown chief customer operations officer Clare Empson has left the business after two years in the role.
Empson previously worked with Ted Baker for 24 years where her last position was director of operations.
Subscribe to TRBAnnouncing her departure on LinkedIn, Empson said: “A milestone moment and the close of an incredible two-year journey at N Brown Group, where I’ve had the privilege of serving as chief customer operations officer and supply chain director.
“Leading across a broad and diverse remit with talented, committed, and relentlessly customer-focused teams has been a real highlight. Together for the customer, we delivered strong results and meaningful value.”
Some of her key achievements during her time with the group included establishing a new distribution centre and designing and delivering an enterprise-wide efficiency system.
In the statement, Empson also thanked her “brilliant” executive colleagues Daniel Joy, Dominic Appleton, Christian Wells and Dene Jones, and gave a special thanks to Steve Johnson, executive chair and group chief executive, for “the trust, challenge, and belief”.
Looking ahead, she added: “As I close this chapter, I’m excited about what’s next and exploring opportunities to leverage my experience and make a difference in board-level operations, customer-centric leadership, and COO responsibilities to drive transformational change and deliver impact at scale for customers, colleagues, and shareholders.”
N Brown Group said: “We can confirm that Clare Empson has left business this month. We thank Clare for her service and wish her well for the future.”
Earlier this month, N Brown Group announced that it had appointed Natalie Rogers as chief operating officer.
