Applied Nutrition appoints two new non-executive directors
Applied Nutrition has appointed Peter Cowgill and Deepti Velury Bakhshi as non-executive directors.
Cowgill is the former executive chairman of JD Sports Fashion where during his 18-year tenure the company grew from a small UK retailer to 3,400 stores across 27 territories worldwide. In 2021, he led JD Sports Fashion’s acquisition of a minority holding in Applied Nutrition and subsequently became a personal investor in the group ahead of its IPO in 2022.
He is currently also the non-executive chair of The Fragrance Shop.
Subscribe to TRBMeanwhile, Velury Bakhshi is currently the chief technology and transformation officer at Epsilon, Publicis where she is leading transformation initiatives focused on data, AI and scalable marketing technology. Prior to this, she served as chair of Tag Worldwide following her tenure as global chief operating officer of the company.
