TFG London appoints Julia Monro as chief brand officer

TFG London, the parent company of Hobbs, Whistles, Phase Eight and White Stuff, has appointed Julia Monro as chief brand officer.

The move follows the group’s acquisition of White Stuff in October 2024.

Monro has served as brand director at White Stuff for the past five years, where she led a brand transformation, including a modernisation of the company’s identity. Before joining White Stuff, she spent over six years at Pret A Manger in various senior roles, including marketing director. Earlier in her career, she held marketing positions at M&S for six years.

In her new position. Monro will report to TFG London chief executive Justin Hampshire and will work closely with the group’s brand and cross-functional teams to develop and implement its marketing strategies.

Hampshire said: “Since acquiring White Stuff in October 2024, I have been impressed by Julia’s creativity and innovative approach to marketing the brand.

“I am confident she is the right person to step into this newly created group role to lead the brand, marketing, and creative direction across Hobbs, Whistles, Phase Eight and White Stuff.

“I look forward to working with Julia and the wider TFG London executive team as we continue to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.”

Monro added: “I am really excited to take on this new role as chief brand officer across TFG London’s fantastic portfolio of fashion brands.

“This is an amazing opportunity to lead the group’s brand, marketing, and creative direction while continuing to develop and grow these already well-loved brands.”

Earlier this month, TFG London announced that it had promoted Sally Ambrose to the role of chief product officer.
