Mango appoints Sara Donninelli as chief brand officer
Mango has appointed Sara Donninelli as chief brand officer as part of plans to strengthen its brand.
Also joining the fashion retailer’s management committee, she will succeed Blanca Muñiz who is taking a new role outside of the company.
Subscribe to TRBDonninelli will join Mango in the coming weeks when she will take over the leadership of the Elevate pillar of the company’s current strategic plan while reporting to Mango president and chief executive Toni Ruiz.
She has been working for the last eight years with The Estée Lauder Companies, most recently as senior VP, global general manager for the luxury fragrance portfolio. She has also held other leadership roles within the group where she contributed to the global growth of brands such as Estée Lauder and Tom Ford Beauty.
Earlier in her career, she held a series of senior roles at Coty, working with brands including Calvin Klein and Tiffany & Co. She also worked with L’Oréal where she managed product and brand strategies for Diesel, Ralph Lauren, Maison Martin Margiela, Stella McCartney and Biotherm.
Donninelli said: “It is an honour to join a company with the trajectory and ambition of Mango.
“After years holding leadership positions in luxury brands, I take on this challenge with the enthusiasm of bringing my global and strategic vision.

This week Mango has also announced that it has opened a new US store at Mall of of America in Minnesota.
