Argos partners with Pinterest to launch The Argos Mood Hotel

Argos and visual inspiration platform Pinterest have joined forces to launch The Argos Mood Hotel – a world-first hotel concept curated using interior design products from the high street brand, based on the hottest interiors trends emerging from Pinterest Predicts.

Located in Bethnal Green, The Argos Mood Hotel showcases the most popular Pinterest trends for homeware and furniture from the latest Argos product ranges.

The Argos Mood Hotel brings to life the newest Pinterest interior trends across six ‘Mood Rooms’. From luxurious velvets to futuristic detailing, this exclusive experience immerses guests into a world of interiors inspiration and discovery through the latest Argos products, including furniture and homeware from the iconic Habitat collection. With everything featured in the trend-led hotel already available to purchase from Argos in-store and online, customers can put their own twist on The Argos Mood Hotel décor in their very own home.

The rooms are open to the public for complimentary overnight stays from Saturday 2nd April to Monday 4th April, with successful applicants winning one of five trend-led Mood Rooms.

Andrew Tanner, design manager at Argos, said: “We’re excited to announce the launch of The Argos Mood Hotel in partnership with Pinterest. This is a great opportunity to bring our homeware to life, immerse and inspire our customers and really demonstrate the ways our design-led furniture and homeware can transform a room.

Our in-house team is committed to curating a range of beautiful products to inspire and excite all our customers, from opulent furnishings to earthy accents and vibrant décor. Trends have always been at the heart of our collections but now that we are adapting to a new way of living and spending more time in our homes, we want to demonstrate the various ways our design-led furniture and homeware can transform a room.

It’s exciting to see Argos collections, including products from our iconic Habitat range, delivering against the trends set by users on Pinterest, and we look forward to our customers being able to experience that first-hand, seeing that Argos can make any trend a reality in their own homes.”

Sibylle Tretera, head of creative strategy, EMEA at Pinterest, said: “The Mood Hotel taps into the phenomenal cultural shift we’ve all lived through in the last two years. Across the world, we’ve seen that people’s relationships with their homes have changed forever and with this comes a new demand for evolving and transforming spaces to suit our mood. This innovative approach from Argos explores the ways people are using the platform and brings to life the very trends people are searching for, making it easy for home decor fans to take action on their creative ideas.”

The Argos Mood Hotel opened to the public on Sunday 3rd April. For those who missed it, they can experience it through immersive 360° video and detailed high-res photography, as well as shoppable digital formats, on the Pinterest platform and Argos social media channels.
