Debenhams teams up with Pinterest to boost brand awareness

Debenhams Group has teamed up with Pinterest to increase brand awareness and boost customer growth.

The online retailer behind the Debenhams, Pretty Little Thing, Boohoo, Boohoo Man and Karen Millen brands is launching a campaign on the visual search and discovery platform to help position it as the ‘go-to’ shopping destination across home, fashion and beauty.

Debenhams said the inspirational, design-led content will enable more shoppers to discover must-have brands and products that are available to shop across its marketplace, which is now home to more than 15,000 brands.

The retailer added that it has already seen some early success with a bridal campaign as it uses Pinterest’s AI tools to enhance personalisation and engagement.

Dan Finley, chief executive of Debenhams Group, said: “Staying relevant is key for shoppers today. Rather than just keeping up with trends, they’re looking for inspiration and ways to get ahead of the curve, and are using Pinterest to do so.

“Through our work with Pinterest, we’re ensuring that the wide variety of brands found on Debenhams are easily discovered, which is enabling us to reach new customers, and ensure we are the go-to destination for new fashion, home and beauty trends.”
