Pinterest launches new shoppable streaming series
Pinterest has launched its first shoppable streaming series as it looks to offer users a new kind of shopping experience.
The series brings Pinterest users’ boards to life as real-world transformations spanning rooms, wardrobes, personal style, gathering spaces, and small businesses. Each episode’s story is then showcased on Pinterest through episode boards where viewers have the opportunity to discover and shop the ideas for themselves.
Subscribe to TRBEach of the six episodes features QR codes that link directly to Pinterest boards stocked with shoppable products, DIY instructions, and imagery from the show. Viewers can save what catches their eye, explore new ideas, and buy from brand partners including Wayfair, eos, and Michaels.
Nadine Zylstra, Pinterest’s global head of editorial, said: “’It’s an entirely new way to move from inspiration to action, right from your living room.
“Bring My Pinterest to Life offers Pinterest fans and newcomers an exciting opportunity to see what’s possible, while giving advertisers innovative ways to partner with us and reach viewers at home and beyond our app.”
The three creator hosts featured in the series include fashion editor and author Caroline Vazzana, DIY creator and interior designer Drew Michael Scott, and digital creator Tay BeepBoop Nakamoto.
