The Perfume Shop reports gender pay gap progress
The Perfume Shop has said its latest Gender Pay Gap Report has shown its “continued progress” towards pay equity and increased representation of females in leadership roles.
The mean gender pay gap within the business has improved to 12.93% to mark a reduction of 2.06 percentage points on 2024.
Subscribe to TRBFurthermore, The Perfume Shop’s median gender bonus gap moved from 7.97% in 2024 to -9.87% in 2025, indicating a positive change in favour of women. The shift was driven by investment in commission for store-based teams during the Golden Quarter.
The retailer said participation in its bonus schemes is strong, with 92% of women receiving a bonus compared to 83% of men as a result of the significant contribution of store teams across the business.

“While gender pay reporting is an important benchmark, our focus remains on creating an environment where everyone can grow, develop and be rewarded fairly.
“We’re encouraged to see positive progress across several of our key measures this year, particularly the movement in our bonus pay gap in favour of women.
“This can also be seen across the significant contribution from our female colleagues that deliver across our stores.”
The Perfume Shop said women continue to play leading roles across the organisation as 76% of employees in the upper pay quartile are female.
