Rolling Stones launch Made in Britain collaboration series

The Rolling Stones’ RS No.9 Carnaby lifestyle brand has embarked on an exclusive series of collaborations with five British heritage brands.

The ‘Made in Britain’ collaboration includes collections with Kirk Originals, Johnstons of Elgin, Tricker’s Shoes, Lewis Leathers and The Great Frog.

David Boyne, managing director of Bravado, said: “We are excited to be collaborating with these heritage brands, showcasing the best Britain has to offer, with a nod to the individual styles of the Rolling Stones band members themselves – this marks the coming together of iconic British brands.”

The first to launch will be Kirk Originals on 27 August. This will include two styles of limited edition sunglasses which have both been inspired by Rolling Stones albums.

Mark Brown, creative director of Kirk Originals, said: “When we were approached to create a suite of frames for The Rolling Stones RS No.9 Carnaby Street we knew that there could be no greater opportunity than this to marry the Kirk Originals approach to eyewear with the spirit and aesthetic of a London rock‘n’roll legend.”

Meanwhile, knitwear brand Johnstons of Elgin will launch three limited edition pieces in October and Royal Warrant holder Tricker’s Shoes will bring out a collection in December. This will be followed by the launch of a jacket range by Lewis Leathers and a statement jewellery collection by The Great Frog in early 2022.

The series will be available to purchase in the RS No.9 Carnaby flagship store on London’s Carnaby Street as well as online.
