Rapha appoints chief brand officer
Rapha has appointed Jodie Harrison to the newly created role of chief brand officer.
Harrison, who has been consulting for the premium cycling apparel brand since January 2025, will now join Rapha’s leadership team full-time, overseeing a major recalibration of its brand positioning.
She was brought into Rapha by its recently appointed chief executive, Fran Millar, whom she previously worked with at Belstaff on the transformation of the century-old brand’s narrative, positioning and performance.
Harrison began her career in the magazine industry at GQ before joining menswear start-up, Mr Porter, as its founding editorial director.
She later served as creative and content director at Soho House, and also held roles at Anthropologie and luxury ecommerce platform Moda Operandi during her time in the US.
Harrison said: “At 21 years young, Rapha has already achieved an enviable and established heritage. It’s a brand’s brand – recognised globally and genuinely loved – so shepherding it into a new era comes with great responsibility. This is not something I take lightly – there’s a lot of careful work to do.
“No other brand has defined and redefined cycling like Rapha, transforming the way the world sees the sport. Rapha made cycling relevant, evocative and alluring. As such, our founder Simon Mottram has built the kind of passionate community most brands can only dream of.”
Millar added: “Rapha was built on originality and courage, which Jodie brings to everything she does. I’m delighted she will lead the focus on inspiring new and future fans in this next chapter for the brand.”
