Pretty Green to open flagship store in Manchester

Pretty Green has announced the opening of its flagship store in Manchester, the spiritual home for the brand and hometown of founder Liam Gallagher.

Liam Gallagher, Brand Founder, said: “I am glad to announce Pretty Green are opening a flagship store once again in Manchester, the city where me and my love for clothes started…Don’t call it a comeback. LG x”

Located on King Street, a street historically renowned for fashion in the city and now the heart of a new developing retail and cultural scene, the store spans two floors and covers 2,000 sq. ft. The space will host a programme of special events and exhibitions over the coming months, offering an insight into the Pretty Green world and its community.

On launch weekend, from 1st October, the new setting will exclusively host the upcoming third drop of the White Label collection. This season’s capsule will include a new smock for Autumn inspired by an Alpenflage Alpentarn M70 swiss military sniper jacket as well as updates to versions from previous drops and the introduction of some new jersey styles. The outerwear is made from Majocchi 3L fully waterproof fabric and L34 Ventile 170gsm fully waterproof fabric, offering a lightweight and resilient wardrobe addition.

The Manchester fashion brand was founded in 2006 by Oasis frontman music icon Liam Gallagher and had 12 stores across the country and 40 concession at its peak. In 2019, the singer and songwriter’s brand was bought by JD Sports due to it going into administration, subsequently all stores were shut.

The step back into a physical retail space will allow customers the opportunity to engage further in the brand experience and comes at an exciting time, with a series of new collections set to be unveiled over the next few months.
