Oliver Goldsmith and Ted Baker collaborate on eyewear collection

Eyewear brand Oliver Goldsmith has partnered with fashion retailer Ted Baker on a new eyewear collection.

The limited-edition range comprises two womenswear and two menswear shapes that are an exact replica of the original Oliver Goldsmith frames worn by iconic cultural figures of the 1960s including Jackie Onassis and Michael Caine, as well those worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Oliver Goldsmith’s silhouettes have been given an injection of colour and personality with signature Ted Baker prints that punctuate the inner frames and match back to clothing across Ted Baker’s spring/summer collections.

Claire Goldsmith, fourth generation owner of Oliver Goldsmith, said: “As the originators of fashion eyewear, Oliver Goldsmith are intrinsically rooted in British culture and so the opportunity to partner with another likeminded British heritage brand makes perfect sense. For this collection we extensively explored Ted Baker’s design archives and have developed a technique of marrying print to frame which is something we’ve never tried before.”
