Nike appoints new leader for Converse

Nike has announced the appointment of a new chief executive for Converse.

Following Scott Uzzell’s move to the new role of VP/GM, North America for Nike, Jared Carver has become the new leader of the Converse brand.

Carver has worked in leadership roles at Converse for more than a decade. During the last four years, he has been serving as  VP/GM for Converse’s North America business where he was credited with driving strong growth in the brand’s largest market.

Prior to that, his roles included VP/GM, global digital direct, VP, strategy, and director, strategy and business development for Converse’s European headquarters.

The news follows Nike’s recent announcement of a raft of senior leadership changes across its business.
