Mango names Kasia Niemirowicz-Majtas as new chief retail officer
Mango has promoted Kasia Niemirowicz-Majtas to the role of chief retail officer.
Also becoming a member of the fashion retailer’s steering committee, she will succeed César de Vicente, who is leaving Mango to pursue a new opportunity outside the company.
Subscribe to TRBNiemirowicz-Majtas joined Mango last May as international retail director for Northern Europe. In her new role, she will lead the retailer’s global retail and commercial operations and help drive the implementation of its strategic plan, which includes expanding its physical store network and optimising the performance of its more than 2,960 worldwide points of sale.
During the transition to her new position, the Northern Europe team0s will continue to report directly to Niemirowicz-Majtas on a temporary basis.
Before joining Mango, she was regional general manager for Eastern Europe at H&M, where she led commercial strategy for around 20 countries, overseeing approximately 18,000 employees.
Having worked with H&M Group for 20 years, she has also previously held a number of other key leadership roles, including country manager for Italy, and prior to that, Spain and Portugal. She also gained international commercial experience at H&M owned & Other Stories, where she led sales and expansion strategies across multiple markets.
