Burberry unveils new Paris flagship

Burberry has opened a new flagship store on Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris.

The shop is the first standalone store in the region to feature the luxury fashion brand’s new global design concept.

Designed in collaboration with renowned architect Vincenzo de Cotiis, the three-story shop takes inspiration from the evolution of the signature Burberry check. The space features mirrored ceilings with intersecting metallic grids and tiled chequerboard floors, and the core colours of the check can be seen throughout the store in a variety of textures such as concrete, ceramics and high-gloss finishes.

Gianluca Flore, Burberry chief commercial officer, said: “We’re very excited to welcome our customers to our new flagship store on Rue Saint-Honoré. The store represents all that we stand for as a brand – being authentic, bold and creative – and we look forward to inspiring our customers with a truly elevated British luxury experience in this iconic setting.”

To mark the opening, Burberry will be staging a citywide takeover with projections of its new birch brown check being displayed on a series of Paris landmarks.
