Arket to open new store in Paris

Arket, the Nordic fashion and homewares retailer, is to launch its first physical store in France this autumn with the opening of a flagship shop in Paris.

The H&M owned business said the new store will provide a complete lifestyle experience and offer fashion and accessories for women, men and children, as well as interior essentials for the home.

Pernilla Wohlfahrt, managing director of Arket, said: “We are truly excited to announce the upcoming opening of our first store in Paris. It is a perfect location to present the brand, and be able to give our customers the real Arket experience.  We long to welcome people into our world and to be inspired by the rich diversity of our collections, designed to answer to the needs of a modern wardrobe.”

The store will also feature an Arket café which will be developed and led by acclaimed Swedish chef Martin Berg and offer a vegetarian menu, seasonal pastries and organic speciality coffees.
