Dobbies to open first small format stores in London
Dobbies Garden Centres is to expand its small format store offering to London following the success of openings in Edinburgh and Bristol.
The retailer has chosen Chiswick High Road and Westbourne Grove as the first locations in the capital for the Little Dobbies stores which will launch this summer.
Graeme Jenkins, chief executive of Dobbies, said: “We are very pleased to be announcing our first London-based Little Dobbies stores, reflecting our continuing ambition to develop and grow the business. The Little Dobbies format is proving very successful, offering the Dobbies’ experience in towns and cities. It has been created to meet the growing demand to shop local from a growing number of gardening and houseplant enthusiasts.”
With a focus on horticulture, the shops will sell a selection of houseplants and gardening products, as well as a range of gifts and seasonal products.
