Dobbies opens first London small format store

Garden centre retailer Dobbies has opened its first small format Little Dobbies store in London.

Situated in Westbourne Grove in the capital’s Notting Hill area, the shop is the third Little Dobbies to open in the UK following the launch of stores in Edinburgh and Bristol. With plants at the heart of its offering, the store will sell a variety of houseplants, sustainable gardening products, gifts and seasonal products.

The opening means Dobbies now has a total of 72 stores across the UK. In addition, it is planning to launch a further small format store in London’s Chiswick.

Graeme Jenkins, chief executive of Dobbies, said: “As we open our third Little Dobbies, we are proud to see our ambitious plans for growth coming to fruition, and the Little Dobbies format going from strength to strength.

“Residents around Notting Hill can enjoy a carefully curated Dobbies’ edit featuring houseplants, the latest gardening innovation and sustainable products, all on their doorstep. A huge thank you to everyone who has been involved with this project.”
