The Cotswold Company being prepared for sale

The owner of The Cotswold Company is getting set for a sale of the premium furniture business.
According to Sky News, private equity company True has appointed Rothschild owned Arrowpoint Advisory to prepare a long term disposal plan and to oversee discussions with potential buyers.
Sources told the news site that True was expected to pursue a sale in the next couple of years, although an auction of the business is not imminent.
True has owned The Cotswold Company since 2016.
Last month, The Cotswold Company announced that sales in the six months to 30 August had increased by 30% to £56.9 million after it grew its active customer base by 21% year-on-year to more than a quarter of a million.
