The Cotswold Company launches interior design consultation service

The Cotswold Company has launched a premium interior design consultation service in five of its showrooms, in Stamford, Harpenden, Knutsford, Tunbridge Wells and Stow-on-the-Wold.

The complimentary service offers customers a personalised consultation with a trained interior advisor, who will provide guidance on product selection, room planning, fabrics, finishes and colour choices.

The company said the service will help customers visualise whole room concepts and bring together different products, design styles and colours into one cohesive scheme.

The service will initially be trialled for three months across the five showrooms, although a wider roll out may be considered after the launch.

Ralph Tucker, chief executive  at the Cotswold Company, said: “We know that shopping for furniture can often become a stressful task.

“We want to change that by providing more expert advice in our stores and offering more reasons for consumers to come in-store and shop with greater confidence.

“This is another example of the steps we are taking to add more value before and after a purchase, as we continue delivering against our growth strategy.”

Last month, The Cotswold Company launched a collection of furniture with M&S, as it looked to extend its omnichannel reach. It  also embarked on a multi-year collaboration with the National Trust.
