The Cotswold Company delivers record sales of £100 million
The Cotswold Company has posted a 19% increase in sales to £100.2 million in the year to 28 February 2025.
The furniture and homeware retailer attributed the performance to the strength of its brand and product proposition, omnichannel model, and investments in operations and marketing.
Ecommerce sales rose by 14% in the period to account for 78% of total sales while showroom sales increased by 45%, representing 22%.
Meanwhile, EBITDA climbed by 156% to £9.2 million driven by sales growth and cost-efficient marketing and customer acquisition.
Subscribe to TRBLooking at categories, oak furniture and upholstery performed particularly well with sales uplifts of 41% and 86% respectively.
During the period, The Cotswold Company opened new showrooms in Stamford and Marlow and evolved its omnichannel model with successful launches on Next.co.uk and John Lewis. It also increased its number of active customers by 20%.

Giving an update on current trading, The Cotswold Company said this is in line with expectations with continued double-digit growth against the prior year.
In recent weeks, the company has opened new showrooms in Harpenden and Knutsford to take the total to 14, and will launch more this year as part of its UK expansion plans.
