Sleep.8 upsizes King’s Road store

Sleep smart brand Sleep.8 is investing in doubling the size of its store in London’s King’s Road.

Designed by an in-house team, the new 2,950 square foot flagship will showcase the company’s high-tech beds, bed ware, mattresses and furniture, as well as temperature-controlled pillows and sleep aids.

Sleep.8 specialises in eco-friendly products that are hypoallergenic and plant-based and the company is the only UK based retailer of the iSense mattress.

Musi Chayla, Sleep.8’s UK chief executive, said: “Our Chelsea store has always been a strong performer and our decision to make this large investment forms part of our expansion plans. With Sloane Stanley’s support, we are now able to see our strategy become a reality, allowing us the ability to showcase more products and to offer our unique bespoke sleep solution advice to customers. We are pleased to remain part of the close-knit King’s Road community as we continue to grow as a business.”

The news follows Sloane Stanley Estate’s recent signing of plant-based food group Neat Burger to King’s Road, whose store  is set to open later this year.

Hannah Grievson, property director at Sloane Stanley, added: “We are pleased to have been working with Sleep.8 to invest in, and enhance, their current King’ Road store, transforming it into their London flagship location. This significant upsize is evidence of our ongoing support of the sleep technology and home furnishings brand, their continued success, and Sloane Stanley’s commitment to nurturing our tenants.”
