ScS appoints HR specialist as non-executive director
Upholstered furniture retailer ScS has appointed Carol Kavanagh as a non-executive director,
Due to take up her role in September, she will also become a member of the company’s audit, remuneration and nomination committees.
Kavanagh was
a non-executive director of Speedy Hire.
SCS said its also intends to appoint Kavanagh to succeed Angela Luger as chair of the remuneration committee next March.
Alan Smith, ScS chairman said: “I am delighted that Carol has agreed to join the ScS Board and will, in time, chair the remuneration committee. Carol brings wide ranging and relevant commercial and people management experience and will be a great addition to the ScS team.”
