Asos appoints sustainability and CSR specialist as non-executive director

Online fashion retailer Asos has appointed Anna Maria Rugarli as a non-executive director.

An expert in the fields of sustainability and CSR, she has also become chair of the Asos ESG committee.

Rugarli has more than twenty years’ experience of working with leading global apparel brands, including Nike Inc. and VF Corporation. She has been credited with creating innovative strategies to address some of the most pressing environmental and social challenges faced by the industry today, as well as providing end-to-end oversight through implementation and roll-out.

She is currently a board member at Prada Group and Japan Tobacco International.
