Pets at Home hires new chief people officer

Pets at Home has appointed Rachel Mooney as its new chief people officer.

She previously held the same role at Monzo Bank and prior to that held senior positions at Snow Software, Vodafone and Google.

Mooney has also held several board roles in the past, including a non-executive board position at Vodafone Group Services.

Lyssa McGowan, chief executive of Pets at Home, said: “I am incredibly excited that Rachel is joining our executive leadership team and I know she will quickly become a huge asset to our business.

“She is an outstanding leader who brings with her vast experience leading best in class people functions across globally recognised brands, as well as within smaller, more agile and digitally-led organisations.”
