Pret trials new drive-thru format in Warrington
Pret A Manger is trialling its first ever drive-thru shop in Warrington in a partnership with Motor Fuel Group.
The move comes as the food-to-go brand continues to expand its presence in UK transport and travel locations.
Subscribe to TRBSituated just off the M6 at junction 21, the drive-thru will serve customers travelling across the North West of England, as well as Warrington locals.
With one lane for vehicles and a digital menu board listing Pret’s food and drink, the shop also offers seating for up to 48 people and EV charging points.
Ross Warnes, Pret A Manger president UK & Ireland, said: “Travel hubs and roadside locations present a huge growth opportunity for Pret, making the launch of our first drive-thru a natural next step in our expansion.
“It’s all part of our strategy of meeting customers where they are, while still delivering the same friendly, speedy service and freshly made food we’re known for.”
Pret currently operates 220 shops in airports, stations and motorway service areas across the UK, 35 of which are operated by Motor Fuel Group.
