Matalan appoints Sarah Welsh as chief product, brand and commercial officer
Matalan has appointed Sarah Welsh to the new role of chief product, brand and commercial officer.
With nearly 30 years’ experience in the retail sector, she has been working for the last five years as retail chief executive at N Brown Group where she was credited with transforming the group’s traditional catalogue offer to a more digital footing.
Prior to that, she was managing director of Oasis Fashion and held senior buying roles at Miss Selfridge and River Island.
In her new position, Welsh will be responsible for putting customers at the heart of Matalan’s proposition as it looks to grow market its share and appeal to a broader audience.
