Matalan to open first Clacton store this November

Matalan is to open its first store in Clacton this November.

Situated at Brooke Retail Park, the new store will span 3,000 square feet and will offer Matalan’s full range of womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and homeware.

This will include the retailer’s new autumn/winter collection, which marks a significant shift for Matalan with a more fashion-forward take on the classic wardrobe.

The shop is one of several new Matalan stores set to open before the end of the year as the retailer continues to invest in its store estate.

Annette Ormandy, store manager at Matalan Clacton, said: “We’re really looking forward to opening our doors in Clacton for the first time this autumn. A huge amount of work is going into getting the store ready, and we can’t wait for local customers to see it.

“We’re proud to be bringing Matalan’s latest ranges to Clacton and to become part of the local community, giving customers even more choice across the everyday style, quality and value Matalan is known for.”
