Frasers Group’s new director a real estate expert
Real estate expert Anouska Kapur has joined Frasers Group’s board as a non-executive director.
Kapur is a partner at law firm Child & Child, which specialises in real estate.
David Daly, chair of Frasers Group’s board, said: “We are pleased to welcome Anouska to the Board of Frasers Group. Anouska’s expertise in real estate will be a vital asset to the board as we continue to invest in the high street as part of our elevation strategy.
“Anouska will also bring independent legal expertise to the Board which will be invaluable in maintaining our regulatory compliance and appropriate standards of corporate governance”.
In its most recent results for the 52 weeks to 25 April, revenue at Frasers Group fell 8.4% to £3.6bn from £3.9bn in 2020.
Frasers Group is a British retail and intellectual property group. The company is best known for trading predominantly under the Sports Direct brand which operates both physical outlets and online.
