Waitrose launches Life on a Plate podcast series

Waitrose is launching a new podcast series today that will be hosted by restaurant critic, writer and editor Jimi Famurewa and Waitrose Food editor Alison Oakervee.

Called Life on a Plate, each episode will feature an interview with a well-known guest and explore their life through food.

The first episode features an interview with author, TV presenter and winner of The Great British Bake Off, Nadiya Hussain. Future interviewees will include chef Tom Kerridge and comedian Sarah Millican.

Martin George, Waitrose customer director, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching this brand new podcast, and it could only ever be about one thing: food. The conversations Alison and Jimi have with our guests range from moving to funny, but are always entertaining and inspiring, and I can’t wait for people to hear the podcast.”

Each episode will last between 30 and 45 minutes and will be available to download from all major platforms every Thursday.
