Vagabond Wines launches new national direct-to-consumer arm
Vagabond Wines has launched a new direct-to-consumer platform where customers can access nationwide next day delivery.
Accessible via the wine bar chain’s website and app, wines are merchandised by style, with more than 50 exclusive SKUs available to browse. Shoppers can explore winemaker stories, view personalised recommendations and use a new engine built around real in bar tasting behaviour.
The platform will also host wines produced at Vagabond’s Urban Winery in London’s Canada Water, which opens on 4 December. As production increases from 25,000 to 100,000 bottles, visitors can taste the wines on site or in the bar, and then reorder their favourites for home delivery.
Christobell Giles, managing director of Vagabond Wines, said: “Vagabond has always been about discovery; now that journey doesn’t stop when you leave the bar.
“Many of our customers discover us while travelling, or they visit our bars but live outside London.
“Now they can explore wines on the taps, see personalised recommendations in the app and have a case on their doorstep the next day.
“It creates a seamless journey from bar to home, and it gives us a far deeper understanding of how our guests taste and explore.”
Vagabobd Wines was acquired out of administration by Majestic in 2024.
