Phoebe Syms, fame and partnerships lead at KFC UK & Ireland, said: “We’re iconic fried chicken. They’re the iconic Chicken Wine. Coq au Vin is one of those partnerships that just makes sense – and frankly, we can’t believe it’s taken this long. This August bank holiday, it’s poulet all day!”
Andrew Bayley, managing director at Famille Perrin UK, said: “Bringing the nation’s favourites together in a unique juxtaposition is all about celebrating the unexpected. Coq au Vin is a playful take on the principle that great wine and great food don’t have to follow the rules… a pop-up collaboration that makes customers cross the road.”
