Tesco to hire over 28,500 temporary staff for the festive season
Tesco is recruiting for more than 28,500 seasonal staff members to help during the busy festive period.
The vacancies are mainly available in Tesco’s Superstores and Extra stores for either early morning, day or evening shifts. Roles will range from serving customers and stocking shelves to picking orders for home delivery.
Ela Golab, Tesco group people services director said: “We’re excited to be recruiting festive colleagues to help make it a season to remember for our customers.
“With the busy Christmas period ahead, we are looking for people who can bring warmth, enthusiasm and a helpful service to every shopping trip.

The news follows an announcement earlier this week that Superdrug is recruiting for 1,000 sales assistants to support stores during Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas.
