Morrisons teams up with Gopuff on instant delivery service

Morrisons has teamed up with Gopuff in a move which will allow customers to order food and grocery items for delivery in as little as 15 to 20 minutes.

The multi-year partnership has brought Morrisons’ fresh food, own-brand and branded products to Gopuff’s immediate delivery platform.

In a statement, Morrisons said the two companies will have the ability to customise and quickly adapt to evolving customer needs with Gopuff having control of the end-to-end delivery supply chain and Morrisons controlling the manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing side. Together, they will aim to deliver a tailored, localised offering to customers across the country.

David Potts, chief executive of Morrisons, said: “Gopuff is an acknowledged leader and innovator in rapid delivery and this partnership will enable us to deliver a very strong range of Morrisons fresh food and customer favourites to front doors across the UK in a matter of minutes.”
