Just Eat and Morrisons team up on on-demand delivery service

Just Eat has teamed up with Morrisons on the launch of on-demand delivery across Morrisons Daily convenience stores.

An initial roll-out to almost 60 shops in December will give customers access to thousands of products from their local store via the Just Eat app and website.

Items will range from everyday essentials to last-minute Christmas treats. Just Eat is also offering up to 50% off on selected essentials until 24 December.

The two companies are planning to expand the service to over 650 stores early next year.

Amy Heather, strategic accounts director at Just Eat UK, said: “We know that our customers are increasingly seeking convenience, particularly in those busy moments like Christmas, and our partnership with Morrisons Daily shows our ongoing commitment to delivering a wide range and more options for our customers to get whatever they need, wherever and whenever they need them.”

Joseph Sutton, online & wholesale director at Morrisons Convenience, said “We have Morrisons Dailys across the country and partnering with Just Eat will offer another fast and convenient way for customers to get Morrisons groceries delivered straight to their door.”
