Morrisons appoints Mohsen Ghasempour as chief AI officer
Morrisons has appointed Mohsen Ghasempour to the newly created role of chief AI officer.
Ghasempour will join the supermarket on 1 October from Kingfisher, where he was chief AI officer and headed the team that built and scaled the B&Q owner’s AI function across its European operations. Prior to that, he held senior technology roles at The Hut Group.
Subscribe to TRBAt Morrisons, he will establish a central data science and AI function, which will take overall responsibility for data and AI strategy, with a focus on customer growth.
He will report to Rami Baitiéh, Morrisons chief executive.
