Asda launches new non-alcoholic spirits

Asda has launched two new non-alcoholic spirits and added two improved products to its no and low range.

The new drinks include the Extra Special Non-Alcoholic Dark Spiced Spirit Drink and the Extra Special Non-Alcoholic Red Berries Botanical Spirit Drink.

Meanwhile, the improved drinks include the Extra Special Non-Alcoholic Botanical Spirit Drink and the Extra Special Non-Alcoholic Rhubarb & Ginger Botanical Spirit Drink.

Priced at £10 each, all of the drinks are vegan and vegetarian friendly.

Asda expects to see sales in the range increase by 7.7% year-on-year this month as more customers take part in Dry January.

Customers who purchase the Extra Special Non-Alcoholic Rhubarb & Ginger Botanical Spirit Drink will be supporting the Asda Tickled Pink campaign where 10% of the price of the product is donated to its breast cancer charity partners, Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!.

Ryan Truswell, Asda’s no and low buyer, said: “We are extremely excited about the launch of these new lines and improved recipes into our low and no alcohol range.

“At a time when we are seeing a spike in customers shopping for alcohol alternatives, it’s important we can offer them exciting options and expand our existing range to cover all drinks styles and customer favourites.”

Asda’s low and no range has expanded by 40% in the last 12 months and includes both own label and branded products.
