Aldi to recruit for 1,000 new store roles

Aldi is recruiting for 1,000 new roles as it accelerates its new store openings between now and the end of the year.

The supermarket is looking to hire for a wide range of positions, including store assistants, store cleaners, and store apprentices, as well as management roles.

Aldi operates more than 1,050 stores and employs over 45,000 people. Last week, the supermarket released a list of priority UK locations where it would like to open new shops as it works towards a long-term target of 1,500.

Hundreds of roles are available throughout the remainder of 2025 in locations such as Fulham Broadway in London and Caterham in Surrey.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

Kelly Stokes, recruitment director at Aldi UK, said: “As we expand into new communities, we’re excited to bring even more people into the Aldi family.

“We’re proud to offer not only the best pay and benefits, but also a positive working environment and real opportunities for progression.”
