Aldi Portobello store named among Edinburgh’s Top Things To Do on Tripadvisor
Aldi has revealed that its Portobello store has become one of the only supermarkets in Scotland to feature among Edinburgh’s Top Things To Do on Tripadvisor, as it looks to capture footfall from this summer’s Fringe Festival.
The ranking places the store alongside several of the city’s best known visitor attractions due to its range of Scottish food and drink products.
Subscribe to TRBThe shop stocks produce from a range of Scottish suppliers including Equi’s, which supplies ice cream made with Scottish milk and cream; Angus Soft Fruits, which supplies locally grown berries; and bakery brand Brownings.
With millions of visitors expected in Edinburgh for the Fringe, Aldi said the shop is becoming an unlikely foodie destination for international and UK visitors keen to taste the best of Scotland.
In celebration of its new Things To Do status, Aldi is giving visitors the chance to pick up one of its free limited edition Edinburgh Fringe postcards to enable them share their favourite memories and foodie discoveries with friends and family,
