Aldi to open 16 new UK stores in coming months
Aldi is set to open 16 new stores over the coming months as it continues to expand its footprint across the UK.
The supermarket said stores will launch in places ranging from Hoxton in the heart of London to Hattersley in Greater Manchester and Balsall Common in the West Midlands.
Subscribe to TRBAldi is currently working to increase its store estate from the current 1,080 sites to its long-term target of 1,500.
The announcement follows the opening of Aldi’s new Salford Quays store last month and forms part of the retailer’s planned £370 million investment in new stores during 2026.
