Aldi invites shoppers to nominate their mum to win a year’s supply of flowers
Aldi has said it expects to sell two million bouquets of flowers in the week leading up to Mother’s Day as it launched a competition where the winner will receive a monthly bouquet for a year.
Working with its longstanding supplier JZ Flowers, a family-run business based in Newport, Aldi will be running the competition until 10 April.
Subscribe to TRBTo enter, customers are asked to share in an email why their mum or motherly figure deserves to win and supply the name of their nearest Aldi store.
The giveaway follows the success of last year’s competition which saw Betty Day from Hull win a year’s worth of flowers.
Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi, said: “Our Mother’s Day competition proved incredibly popular last year, and we’re excited to bring it back to celebrate another special mother figure.
“We’re always looking for meaningful ways to give back to our customers, and this giveaway offers a thoughtful way to mark the occasion.
“By working with our long-standing British supplier, JZ Flowers, we’re able to offer beautiful, high-quality bouquets that help customers celebrate their loved ones not just on Mother’s Day, but throughout the year.”
