Aldi reveals full list of 24 new stores opening before Christmas

Aldi has revealed the full list of new stores it will be opening between now and Christmas.

The announcement follows the release of the supermarket’s latest annual results, which show turnover increased 5% to a record £19 billion in the 12 months to 31 December 2025. It also announced that it is to invest a record £900 million in new stores and distribution centres in Britain next year.

Currently operating 1,092 stores, Aldi is planning to launch or relocate nearly 30 stores over the next 10 weeks as it looks to grow its presence in more communities.

The full list of new locations set to open between now and Christmas include:

  • Bishop’s Cleeve, Gloucestershire
  • Malton, North Yorkshire
  • Orpington, Greater London
  • Ashford, Kent
  • Newport, South Wales
  • Newport, Isle of Wight
  • Basildon, Essex
  • Matlock, Derbyshire
  • Wimborne, Dorset
  • Stepney Green, London
  • Orrell, Greater Manchester
  • Dumbarton, West Dunbartonshire
  • Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire
  • Epsom, Surrey
  • Wellington, Somerset
  • Hattersley, Greater Manchester
  • Hanworth, Greater London
  • Willesden, London
  • Longbridge, West Midlands
  • Waterlooville, Hampshire
  • Egremont, Cumbria
  • Lower Gornal, West Midlands
  • Driffield, East Yorkshire
  • Chatham, Kent

Aldi will also be relocating its Sudbury, Sutton Coldfield and Wigan stores before the end of the year.
