Suit Direct opens flagship Metro Centre store
Men’s formalwear retailer Suit Direct has opened a new flagship store in Gateshead’s Metro Centre.
The retailer has invested £35,000 in fitting out the store which is situated in the shopping centre’s Platinum Mall. The shop sells a premium selection of both formal and smart casualwear pieces from brands such as Ted Baker, Marc Darcy, Ben Sherman, Jeff Banks, Gibson London and Antique Rogue. It also offers bespoke measuring services, free alterations and an in-store kiosk where customers can order stock from the Suit Direct website for free collection.

The opening means the retailer now has almost 80 staff members in the north east of England, where personnel is spread across the Metro Centre store, its Dalton Park outlet shop and a warehouse in Hartlepool.
