Primark appoints chief customer and digital officer
Primark has appointed Matt Houston as chief customer and digital officer.
Houston has been working with the retailer since 2018, initially as strategy and transformation director and then as group strategy and digital director with responsibility for establishing Primark’s digital function. This included growing the digital marketing team, relaunching Primark’s customer website and bringing a click and collect service to all UK stores.
Prior to joining Primark, he was managing director of Javelin Group.
In his new role, Houston will continue to serve on the Primark leadership team and will be accountable for the end-to-end customer brand, including uniting Primark’s customer and digital teams into one integrated function.
