New Look loyalty programme reaches milestone one million members

New Look’s  first-ever loyalty programme, Club New Look, has reached one million members as the fashion retailer continues to execute its digital transformation and customer engagement strategy.

Launched last October, the programme offers members benefits such as ‘Club Prices’, early access to sales and new product launches, tailored offers, and entry into member-only prize draws.

New Look said Club New Look is tracking ahead of original targets, with dresses the most popular category among members, accounting for 14% of transactions. The retailer added that the scheme has played a key role in building stronger, longer-term customer relationships, driving both spend per customer and frequency of purchase.

The loyalty programme is part of a broader digital push at New Look. Over the past five years the retailer has been working to evolve its digital offer, and last April announced a £30 million investment to accelerate the next phase of its digital growth.

Clare Dobbie, chief customer officer of New Look, said: “Reaching one million Club members is a fantastic milestone and a real testament to the team and how strongly it has resonated with customers.

“From the outset, our ambition was to create a proposition that genuinely adds value – rewarding our most engaged customers while allowing us to deliver more relevant, personalised experiences.

“Hitting this target ahead of plan shows the appetite our customers have for being recognised and rewarded, and we’re excited about what’s next for Club New Look.”
