New Balance appoints vice president of sales for EMEA
New Balance has appointed the former managing director of sport at Frasers Group as its vice president sales EMEA.
Ger Wright worked with Frasers Group for almost three years from 2022 and prior to that served for over 14 years in a range of senior roles at Nike. She began her career at Clerys Department store in Ireland before moving to Levi Strauss.

“I’m energised to be back in a brand leadership role, working alongside the team to capitalise on the momentum New Balance is creating and to take our EMEA business to new heights, realising New Balance’s amazing ambitions.
“My career journey in the sports industry, both on the brand and retail side of the business has been an incredible ride so far. I’ve had the privilege of working with and for some of the best in this industry. I’m so thankful to the mentors, colleagues and leaders who have each helped me get here.”
Wright is a founding member of Global Game Shapers, an organisation dedicated to building a global network for women leaders in the sporting goods business.
