Apparel Brands acquires streetwear brand Nicce

Apparel Brands has acquired the London based streetwear brand Nicce.

The company will take on the license for Nicce clothing across wholesale and ecommerce.

Peter Wood, chief executive of Apparel Brands, said: “Nicce is a brand with a rich background within streetwear and youth lifestyle. Over the last 10 years, the Nicce team has built a strong business and continues to grow equity in the brand. With Nicce becoming part of Apparel Brands, we will embed it within an established global operation with investment behind scale in supply chain and the ability to reach new markets.”

The move means that Nicce will benefit from Apparel Brands’ support and guidance as it looks ahead to strengthening its wholesale business and accelerating online and international growth.

Meanwhile Apparel Brands has been able to diversify its portfolio and and will benefit from Nicce supporting its strategic priorities, particularly around choice and premiumisation.

Nicce clothing will remain available online at nicceclothing.com and through retail partners following the acquisition.
